Halloween Weekend.

Friday started off with a bang. Excited about a job interview later in the afternoon and happy that I would have a chance to watch the kids in their costumes made me happy about the hours and weekend to come. The rain was relentless last night though and when I first walked outside it felt like a rainforest in the middle of the Autumn. High 60's with almost 100% humidity made everything sticky and just unpleasant outside.

I was happy however that I started the day off right with my Greenberry Shakeology and felt good that my immunity was boosted. I really felt that today would be the day to test it since it seemed to be the perfect weather to breed germs. Kids off to grandma and grandpa's house since they didn't have school and the oldest daughter on her way to her friends house for the morning to practice pom's I proceeded out the door to my part time job.

Arriving at work and following the normal routing of opening the store went perfect. Then there was the thing about taking care of the shop cats that have some type of eye infection. All three of them needed medicine put in their eyes. With that actually accomplished the store was ready for customers and then....well, the internet went down. No outlook scheduling of appointments on the shared server, no automatic credit/debit approvals, etc. Having handled this many times in my retail career it really is just about maintaining the customer satisfaction, and finding ways to help the customers while managing the problem at the same time. Quickly then this morning it turned to a higher stress level that only lasted a short time before the problems were resolved and all was back to normal. Whew! Another reason I was happy that I had my proper nutrition for breakfast and all the benefits of antioxidants and probiotics working against all the free radicals I was probably creating with the stress.

If you haven't read about Shakeology or heard of it, it is really worth your time and something you should be aware of. Take a minute to learn about the product and see what you think.

Tread Lightly,

Mouserunner
