A little history...

Welcome to Frank’s Page!

Why I Joined the Team

Having a friend who is a cancer survivor decide to run his first marathon made me re-examine my own personal goals and want to support others. Never running more than 3 miles this would be a huge challenge for me. However, having 3 children of my own and finding a great team and charity that helps seriously ill children told me it was what I was supposed to do. Please join me in my efforts.

If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap.
If you want happiness for a day, go fishing.
If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune.
If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.
- Chinese proverb

As a member of Team Hole in the Wall, I am using my participation in the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend on January 9-10, 2010as a way to raise funds for and bring awareness to Hole in the Wall Camps. I am committed to raising $2,000. Please help me reach (or even exceed!) my goal by clicking on my support button. With your generosity, we can all share in the joy of knowing that we are helping to create memories that will last a lifetime.
Every summer at Hole in the Wall Camps, hundreds of children become athletes and actors, painters and poets, swimmers and singers, clowns and canoe paddlers, naturalists, equestrians, and hot air balloonists. It is amazing what these campers accomplish in one week; just as amazing are the obstacles they overcome on a daily basis, for these children suffer from serious illnesses such as cancer, sickle cell anemia, HIV/AIDS, and hemophilia. Camp helps keep them going – throughout the many challenges of serious illness.

Now a month into the program I am starting to feel the results. Back 4 weeks ago, I became the owner of a program known as P90X. Starting a workout program while training for a marathon would take even more time, dedication and commitment. Did I have the time, yes. Do I have the motivation? You bet. And can I commit to finishing the program that lasts 90 days which means if followed to the tee would end on December 31st. This just 10 days from my marathon.

After purchasing the DVD's and working out I was informed about the great opportunity of becoming a Beachbody Independent Coach. I found out that just by sharing what I love to do which is finding and using the best nutrition and fitness products, I could also make some extra income. This was very exciting to me, especially since I loved running and my training so far. I had met plenty of other runners on running websites and races that I knew could benefit from this just the way I have. I am so excited! Now as my long runs approach 18 miles I know that I will continue to work through P90X and focus mainly on the core routines. Even after just a month I have noticed that I am running stronger and recently set a new PR for the 5K. I am very excited to share the ability to workout with others who are motivated to get in the best shape of their life and set high goals for themselves. I love the Beachbody community since every time you workout their is a special WOWY (work out with you) board where you can see your friends and schedule workouts right along with them. As I work through the program Beachbody is releasing new products, better support and new nutritional products such as Shakeology which I will save for another post. I really hope you can join me and my team on Beachbody! We are there to support you and hope that you will come meet your goals with us. www.getfitwithmouserunner.com.
